Some people are confused by the new values of the Milk Thistle displayed in the Supplements Facts Panel on the Livatone label.

But let me assure you that the NEW LIVATONE FORMULA has three times as much of the active Silymarin ingredient compared to the old original Livatone formula.

The old formula had 10mg of Silymarin per capsule (equivalent to 700mg by weight of whole herb) and in contrast the new formula has 60 mg of silymarin which is equivalent to 1200 mg of milk thistle (whole dried herb).

How can this be?

Well, we have used a stronger extract and a better quality Milk Thistle. It's only the Silymarin that is active and not the whole herb. Therefore we have only listed the Silymarin component on our new labels.
